The Zettler BACpac portal acts as a protocol translator between the fire alarm control unit and other building systems that use industry-standard BACnet or Modbus protocol communications. When the Zettler BACpac Ethernet module receives system status messages from the Zettler fire alarm control panel, it translates the messages into BACnet or Modbus protocol. When the output is interfaced with a building automation system (BAS), the BAS can display the status of the fire alarm equipment and act on the information received to enable critical building control functions such as HVAC dampers and smoke control equipment. This kind of integrated approach enables more comprehensive and coordinated response to emergencies.

Fire alarm system status integration: BACpac provides fire alarm system status to other systems using the ASHRAE BACnet and Modbus building automation communication protocols. The BACpac module supports both serial and IP communication.
Zettler control panel compatibility: The BACpac module is compatible with Zettler addressable fire alarm control units and is easy to retrofit to existing systems.

Preprogrammed BACpac Ethernet module:The module is pre-programmed with digital pseudo points linked to BACnet objects. Up to 1,000 status changes can be recognized from the fire alarm control panel. BACpac supports up to 15,000 points.
UL, ULC and EN listing: BACpac is UL-listed to Standard 864 and ULC-listed to Standard S527.
